AUPOOL is born
Mackle supported his son Jack to establish Shenzhen Tapaidang Technology to avoid conflict with the factory's aquarium business. Tapaidang specializes in swimming pool business and created the AUPOOL brand. Under Jack's leadership, AUPOOL has continuously set multiple world records for transparent swimming pools and has become a strategic partner of various well-known real estate and hotel groups.
Innovation
Thick acrylic sheet became popular to use in swimming pools, but acrylic would have defects such as aging, discoloration, and reduced transparency after long-term exposure to the sun. Mackle used his knowledge of chemistry to develop a unique formula and process for thick acrylic sheets. This effectively solved the problem of yellowing, discoloration, and reduced transparency of acrylic in outdoors.
Start the business
Although Mackle is an important R&D personnel who participated in China's thick acrylic sheet research team, he left the team and started his own business in 1994. Then established an acrylic factory in Hubei in 1995, focused on R&D and production of large windows for aquariums.
Enter the industry
Our company's chairman Mackle Yu graduated from Huazhong University of Science and Technology with a major in Applied Chemistry. Then entered the Shanghai Institute of Organic Chemistry, Chinese Academy of Sciences to research polymer chemistry.
